Since all chemical, biological and molecular interactions are fundamentally electromagnetic, an externally applied electromagnetic field might be expected to have profound biological effects at many levels. Bio-electromagnetic therapy has been documented to increase energy (ATP production) and availability of oxygen, enhance transport of ions (calcium, potassium, sodium) across cell membranes, improve circulation, induce sleep, alleviate pain and reduce stress.
